Cindy Cartwright is the coordinator of the Ontario Hummingbird Project. She has had a permit to band hummingbirds in Ontario and British Columbia from the Canadian Wildlife Service since 2001. There are fewer than 30 hummingbird banders in Canada that have endorsements (permission) to band hummingbirds and there are only four active hummingbird banders in Ontario.
